If you’re reading this article, then you probably travel. But likely it’s NOT so much the journey you enjoy, but the destination. Long gone are the glamorous days of air travel where your every whim is catered to. Now, the chore of getting to your destination is tedious – airport lines, security checks, cancellations, delays, cramped seats and who can erase that video from mind – being bumped (or dragged) from a seat! What can you do to make getting there more enjoyable, achieve less stressful travel? Here are a few strategies and products we think will help.
1. Use SeatGuru.com to check Airplane Seats
Sometimes being aware of the upside or downside of your seat or of the plane’s features can help you plan for a more comfortable flight. Before you fly or even before you book, use www.Seatguru.com to see extensive reviews of airplanes and their seats. This site shows which seats have the most legroom, a power outlet, a window, a reclining seat and which is closest/furthest from washrooms. You can also find out which seats are and aren’t recommended.

3. Space-saving Shoes
It’s stressful keeping your luggage to a minimum…and shoes are one of the largest space suckers. Enter Shooz! a great travel shoe solution.

Pack one sole with many lightweight skins to get lots of shoe choices.
With Shooz, the upper separates from the sole via a zipper so when you travel all you do is take one set of soles (which you’d likely wear on the plane) and then pack several pairs of uppers (called “skins”). The interchangeable skins lie flat, so you can pile them on top of each other and take LOTS of shoes with you AND they all easily fit in a carry-on or a backpack or outside flap of your luggage. Lonely Planet explains it best.
