These are the six newest Opptee features that will make your travel searches easier, faster and more successful.
Price alerts and notifications
To set flight price alerts:
- Select Flights on the Opptee dial
- Input flight search criteria
- Click on the price notification (bell) icon in upper right corner
- Select the ‘+’ sign
- Click ‘ok’ to confirmation pop-up
Pop-up instructions
To assist with how to most effectively use Opptee, we’ve added descriptions and prompts with easy-to-follow advice. These pop-ups are perfect for new Opptee users. If you are already familiar with Opptee, the pop-ups can be disabled by selecting “don’t show this again’.
New travel search options
We continue to add travel search options to Opptee Flights, Hotels, Car Rentals, Cruises and Vacations. Here are our newest additions:
Flights: Momondo, SouthWest Air (Opptee is one of the few travel searches that can searcg SW Air)
Cruises: Carnival and Cruise Critic, Holland America, Norweigan, Princess, Royal Caribbean
Vacation Packages: Air Transat, Sunwing, TripCentral
New features for MOBILE DEVICES and TABLETS
Swipe feature
Swiping left or right on your mobile or tablet is useful for comparing results on an unlimited number of search providers. To use this feature:
- Search multiple providers (e.g., SouthWest, Expedia, American Air, Kayak)
- When you are on an individual result, swipe left or right to see the next result/provider.
New features for TABLETS and WINDOWS computers
View dual screens
Viewing the results of one search provider vs another is easier now that you can see the results in a side-by-side mode. To view the dual screens feature:
- Conduct a few searches on various providers
- Select ‘Results’.
- In the top left corner, notice either one or two squares.
- Select two squares to see two searches side-by-side.
View past searches
When you use Opptee from a Windows computer, you can now view the history or a list of your past searches. Here’s how:
- Choose several flight options (or hotels, cruises, car rentals) using Opptee
- Select Search
- Select the circle icon in upper left corner – highlighted in this image
- Previous searches are shown as a list
